About this place
hâteau Mukhrani is the principal attraction of the village and is presented by Georgia’s national tourism directory as the country’s first royal château. The estate brings together four main elements: vineyards, a winery, a palace and the history of the Bagrationi-Mukhrani family.
Visitors can explore the estate’s historical and winemaking heritage, join a guided tasting and purchase wines directly from the producer. Georgian cuisine is also available, allowing the visit to be combined with lunch, dinner or a structured food-and-wine experience. Tours, tastings and meals should be reserved in advance, particularly for private groups and weekend visits.
