About Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument
The Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument, also known as the Friendship Arch or Panorama Monument, stands beside the Georgian Military Highway north of Gudauri.
The large circular structure is decorated with colourful mosaic scenes and opens toward an impressive view of the surrounding mountains and deep valley. It is one of the most popular photo stops on the route to Kazbegi and is also used as a nearby take-off area for tandem paragliding.
