New Gudauri is the resort’s main modern tourism area. It is centred around the gondola station and includes hotels, apartment buildings, restaurants, bars, ski schools and rental shops.
The district is especially lively during the winter season and provides convenient ski-in and ski-out access from many properties. Outside winter, it serves as a starting point for cable-car rides, mountain walks and seasonal outdoor activities.
