About this route

This six-day private tour combines Georgia’s historic capitals, wine-producing countryside and the dramatic landscapes of the Greater Caucasus.

The journey begins in Tbilisi, where guests explore the Old Town, sulfur-bath district, Narikala Fortress and the Mother of Georgia. The programme then continues to Mtskheta for visits to Jvari Monastery.

In Kakheti, travellers visit a family winery, taste traditional Georgian wines and learn about the ancient qvevri winemaking method. The experience also includes local activities such as churchkhela tasting and Georgian bread preparation. The cultural route continues to Bodbe Monastery and the hilltop town of Sighnaghi, known for its defensive walls, traditional balconies and views across the Alazani Valley.

The mountain section begins with Gudauri and the panoramic Friendship Monument. After crossing Jvari Pass, guests arrive in Stepantsminda. The following day includes Gergeti Trinity Church and an optional walk toward Gveleti Waterfall and Sno Village, famous for its monumental stone portraits. The tour ends with a return to Tbilisi and an airport transfer on the final day.
