About this place
Sno is a picturesque village located a short drive from Stepantsminda. It is known for its mountain valley, historic defensive tower and large stone sculptures depicting important Georgian figures. The village also serves as the gateway toward Juta and the Chaukhi Mountains. Sno Church stands nearby and was built on the foundations of an older religious structure. The village is an easy and rewarding stop on a wider Kazbegi tour.
