Kazbegi/Place
A beautiful mountain waterfall reached by a short hiking trail near Gveleti Village and Dariali Gorge.
About this place
Gveleti Waterfall is located a short drive north of Stepantsminda, close to Gveleti Village in Dariali Gorge. After leaving the vehicle, visitors follow a marked trail through a narrow mountain landscape toward the waterfall. The final section can be rocky and uneven, so comfortable footwear is recommended. The attraction is especially pleasant during spring, summer and early autumn and is commonly combined with Dariali Gorge and Dariali Monastery.
