Ambrolauri Town Centre

Ambrolauri is a compact town that can easily be explored on foot. Its central area includes public squares, cafés, restaurants, local shops and visitor services. A wine monument in the town reflects the importance of Khvanchkara and Aleksandrouli wines to the local identity and economy.

Although Ambrolauri has fewer monumental buildings than Georgia’s larger cities, its peaceful atmosphere and mountain setting make it a pleasant base for exploring Racha. The town’s tourist information centre is located on Vazha-Pshavela Street.
