About this route
This seven-day tour combines Georgia’s cultural heritage, mountain landscapes, village life and regional food traditions.
The journey begins in Mtskheta with Jvari Monastery and panoramic views over the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. Guests then continue to Borjomi to taste mineral water directly from the spring and walk through Borjomi Central Park before travelling to Akhaltsikhe for the first overnight stay.
The following day includes photo stops at Rabati Castle and Khertvisi Fortress. Later, the route continues to Imereti, where guests take part in a cooking class and prepare traditional Imeretian khachapuri before staying overnight in Sazano village.
In Racha, visitors travel past Shaori Lake and explore Nikortsminda Cathedral. The programme also includes lunch in Korenishi village with local wine made from the rare Usakhelouri grape, followed by an overnight stay in Martvili village.
After leaving the mountains, the route passes Enguri Dam and continues to Anaklia on the Black Sea coast, where guests can relax by the sea and enjoy a traditional Megrelian dinner. Then returning to Tbilisi or another agreed drop-off point.
