About the destination
Borjomi is one of Georgia’s best-known resort towns, located in a forested valley surrounded by the mountains of the Lesser Caucasus. The destination is internationally recognised for its naturally carbonated mineral water, which visitors can taste directly from the spring inside Borjomi Central Park.
The town combines natural scenery, spa traditions, imperial-era architecture and outdoor activities. Visitors can walk through the central park, ride the cable car to a panoramic viewpoint, visit the Local Lore Museum and continue through the forest toward the open-air sulfur pools. Nearby attractions include the Green Monastery, Likani, historic fortresses and Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, which offers both short walks and multi-day hiking routes. One or two days are recommended for exploring Borjomi and its surrounding nature comfortably.
