About Alphabetic Tower
The Alphabetic Tower is one of the most recognisable structures on Batumi’s skyline. Completed in 2011, the tower resembles the double helix of DNA and is wrapped with the thirty-three letters of the modern Georgian alphabet. Its design symbolises the importance of language and national identity in Georgian culture. The upper levels include panoramic spaces with wide views over Batumi, the Black Sea and the mountains of Adjara. Operating hours should be checked before visiting.
