About this route

This seven-day private tour introduces visitors to Georgia’s cultural heritage, western landscapes, high mountain regions and Black Sea coastline.

The sightseeing programme begins in Tbilisi with Sameba Cathedral, Metekhi Church, Rike Park . The route then continues to Mtskheta, where guests visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery, overlooking the meeting point of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers.

The journey proceeds to Gori and the Stalin Museum complex before continuing to Uplistsikhe, an ancient rock-hewn settlement containing ceremonial halls, living spaces, wine-production areas and religious chambers. In Kutaisi, guests visit Gelati Monastery, one of Georgia’s most important medieval religious and educational centres.

Western Georgia’s natural attractions include Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon, followed by a scenic drive past Enguri Dam toward Mestia in Upper Svaneti. After experiencing the mountain landscapes of Svaneti, the route continues to Batumi for a city tour featuring Batumi Boulevard, the Ali and Nino sculpture, the Alphabet Tower, Piazza Square and Europe Square.

The final sightseeing day includes Gonio-Apsaros Fortress and the Batumi Botanical Garden, where visitors can explore international plant collections and enjoy panoramic views over the Black Sea. Afterwards, the tour returns to Tbilisi for the final overnight stay and departure transfer.
