The Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, commonly known as Sameba, is one of the most visible landmarks on the city’s skyline. The cathedral complex stands on Elia Hill and includes the main church, smaller chapels, gardens and panoramic viewpoints. Its large golden dome can be seen from many parts of central Tbilisi. Sameba is an active place of worship, so visitors should dress respectfully and avoid disturbing religious services.
