About Batumi Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God
Batumi Cathedral is one of the city’s main architectural landmarks. Built in the late 19th century, the three-domed church is distinguished by Neo-Gothic towers, pointed arches, stained-glass windows and contrasting interior floor patterns. Originally constructed as a Roman Catholic church, it now functions as a Georgian Orthodox cathedral. Visitors should enter quietly and dress respectfully
