About this place
Batumi Botanical Garden is located on Green Cape, approximately nine kilometres from the city. Founded in 1912, it extends across 113 hectares and contains upper, lower and seaside parks. Its botanical sections represent regions including East Asia, the Himalayas, Australia, New Zealand, North America, South America, Mexico and the Mediterranean. Visitors can explore forest paths, centuries-old trees, subtropical plants and viewpoints overlooking the Black Sea. The terrain includes slopes and long walking distances, so comfortable footwear is recommended.
