About Niko Pirosmani Collection
The Niko Pirosmani collection forms one of the main attractions of Sighnaghi Museum. Pirosmani was a self-taught Georgian painter whose direct and highly recognisable style portrayed merchants, celebrations, animals, food and ordinary people. His paintings provide a vivid interpretation of Georgian social life during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
