About this place
Tskaltubo is a historic spa resort located near Kutaisi. The town developed around its thermal-mineral waters and became famous for large sanatoriums, bathhouses and landscaped parks.
Today, visitors come to see both restored and abandoned resort architecture, walk through the central park and continue to nearby natural attractions such as Prometheus Cave. Access to abandoned buildings may be restricted or unsafe, so they should only be entered with permission and local guidance.
