About this place
Hatsvali is located approximately eight kilometres from Mestia and is one of Upper Svaneti’s principal mountain resorts. During winter, it offers skiing and snowboarding, while warmer months provide opportunities for walking, picnics and panoramic cable-car rides.
The upper Zuruldi area offers some of the finest accessible views around Mestia. On clear days, visitors can see Ushba, Tetnuldi and numerous peaks of the Greater Caucasus. Lift operations depend on season, weather and maintenance.
